About Us

Welcome to Your Ad tennis academy, now in its eighth year of helping players and their parents spend great tennis vacations in the Czech Republic. We offer 6 one-week camps with intense training for players of all ages and levels. We also offer six-week summer intensive training camps for juniors.

Your Ad participates on organising tournaments for juniors and adult. Our new project is an international tennis tournament for juniors TE 12 which 2nd annual will be held in Písek this summer. This event is a result of our co-operation with the European Tennis Association and the Czech Tennis Association.

Tennis game development

Begginers

Goal: To acquire the basic skills for the game. To master the CORRECT movements and turn them into dynamic stereotypes. To get familiar with the rules of tennis game.

Goal: To embed improved strokes and bring them into the active stroke potential of the game. To automatize building the game on the strong stroke.

Staff

Our team consists of sport educated tennis professionals. We use the latest tennis methodology. We have experience with teaching tennis not only in the CR but also in the USA, Canada, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, and Russia. Even though the official academy languages are German and English. We all speak Czech and Russian.

Pavel Kroupa
The academy head coach. Is in his sixth year as the South Bohemian tennis coach. He passed the highest tennis education at the Charles University in Prague. In 1999 his teams of children aged 10-14 took fifth place in the Czech Republic. Pavel has worked with some Czech WTA and ATP players and kids ranked top ten ITF. Past experience in coaching includes work at Munich tennis academy and Nike summer camps in Illinois.
Michal Grill
The academy director. He gained experience with USPTA teaching methods during his coaching trips to the USA. His long-term cooperation with various junior teams in Austria Germany and Russia gives him a wide range of knowledge in work with the young players. He has worked as the area manager for a tennis school in Turkey.
Jirka Hladky
The head coach from Prague. He has been teaching tennis for 12 years. He has been working with some of the best players in Prague and the Czech Republic. He is a keen teacher and his trainees always love him. His good sense of humour and professionality make the lessons enjoyable and valuable at the same time.
Gabina Becvarova
The language teacher, and the miniclub manager. Gabina has a pedagogical education and she has been working with kids for several years now. She is an excellent companion for children of the youngest age and she also gets on well with the elder ones. She is an extremely responsible person and she will ensure an absolute safety for your children at all times. Attention! After meeting Gabina your children might not want to go back home with you anymore.
